Artisanal Handcrafted Tagua Nut Organic Necklace made in Ecuador

These necklaces are a " Greenproduct", made from seeds of a Tagua palm tree that grows in the Amazonia ofEcuador and Acai seeds that grow in Brazil.

Every 7 years female tagua tree produces seeds, which are dried,peeled and heavy husk covering the seeds is removed. Then the nuts are sliced into various shapes, dyed with organic dyes, holes are drilled in each chip and artisan jewelers buy them in various colors to assemble them into jewelry.
